Lync also allowed us to answer the office main numbers so we didn't miss a single phone call.  With the remote access capabilities of Lync and desktop sharing, the technical team could also deal with any clients computer or server problems without having to be on site. The team was always in touch with each other with Instant Messaging and Presence ensuring that everything was running smoothly.
