Do you think that IT is critical to the success of your busines? 

Most people would say yes to this question, so why do many businesses take a good enough approach to how they use IT and how they select their IT supplier. 

Why do they go with the lowest price and then complain when their IT systems don't work? Why do they get annoyed by slow response and fix times? 

Consider this example.  You pay £50 per hour for IT support.  It takes the engineer 2 hours to resolve your issue.  This has directly cost you £100 and more if you consider the indirect costs i.e. your salesman can't access his PC during the downtime.  What if a better quality engineer (costing £100 per hour) could resolve the same issue in 30 mins.  You would have 1 and half hours less downtime and cut your actual support incident cost in half! 

So, isn't it better value if you choose a better quality IT Support supplier?
